BUILDING USE POLICY
Purpose: As part of its mission to the community, the congregation of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church extends the use of its building to community groups and non-members.
Liability: Any person or group using our facility, for special occasions or regular use, will be held responsible for checking the building to be sure lights are turned off, windows closed and doors locked, and that all areas of use, will be cleaned before the user vacates the premises. Costs for damages or for cleaning, as a result of not taking care of such tasks, will be assumed by the user group or persons
- Our Saviour’s will not be held liable for any injuries incurred while using the facility. Nor will Our Saviour’s be held responsible for lost of stolen items incurred during the use of our facility.
- WINE served with dinner at receptions is acceptable. A special event permit is required and is available from the Liquor Store. Otherwise, no other alcohol is permitted on the premises.
- An application for use of the building, must be completed by all user groups for both special occasions and continuous use.
- All users must sign a waiver absolving Our Saviour’s of any responsibility for injuries incurred during the use of the building.
a) WEDDING: Non Member: $400.00 for use of the Sanctuary
Member: $0 (Donation at member’s discretion)
No Confetti or Rice is allowed to be thrown on Church premises. User will be charged for clean up.
b) FUNERAL Non Member: No charge for use of the Sanctuary
Members: Not required to make a donation and may do so at their discretion.
The suggested hourly rate for Community groups using the facility on a regular basis is $35.00

Fellowship Hall downstairs, WITHOUT use of kitchen – $165.00
Fellowship Hall WITH use of kitchen – $225.00
Total for a place setting – $1.50 each
Fellowship Hall $150.00
Fireside Room $40.00
