Over the next four weeks we’ll be reflecting on the overall theme of 1 Timothy 6:19 – So that they can take hold of the life that is truly life.
What does it mean to have a life that is truly life? A lot of people ask this question. We’ll explore this through the themes of following, simplicity, community and hospitality. Part of this series will involve some personal reflection around your involvement in the church in terms of volunteering and financial support. I know for some people this is difficult to talk about but it’s important that we take time to reflect on these areas of our life in Christ. They are by no means to only areas that are important but they are a part of our Christian walk.
Below is the first form that we’ll be highlighting for the next two Sundays. Please take a look at it and reflect on how you fit into the various categories outlined. Take some time to pray about what areas God might be challenging you to get involved in. Perhaps there are a lot of checked off boxes and you need to let go of something. Maybe there’s something not on the form. Add it in. Take a moment to thank God for the opportunities you’ve been given to serve others. Use this as a reflective piece.
If you are able to print it out and bring it on one of the next two Sundays great. Otherwise we will be handing them out at worship and giving you time to fill them out.
