Last years hampers almost ready

Our first reading in Advent told us to wake up. For the second year in a row we are being jarred from our sleep by those who lack food and the necessary resources to enjoy this special time of year. We are teaming up with Westwood Elementary, a retired teachers group from Westwood, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Sunday School and members of the church to provide hampers for local families.  The aboriginal education worker has identified 5 families at Westwood Elementary that would benefit from food and gifts this Christmas. The Sunday School is taking a family, the retired teachers another and the congregation will work with three families and providing the dinner for each family. If you want to be involved great! Below you will find two things. First is a link to the outline of the co-ordinator duties.  We need a co-ordinator for each team and then people to work with the co-ordinator to do things like baking, shopping, delivery and provide funds for the purchase of food and presents. Second is a link to the sign up sheet. Click on the link and then simply type your name into any slot.
